Make (formerly Integromat) talks to Kwazi with its built-in Webhooks and HTTP apps. The names of Make’s modules below can differ slightly as Make changes its editor.
Start a scenario when something happens in Kwazi
- In Make, create a scenario with the module Webhooks → Custom webhook. Add a webhook and copy its address (
https://hook.eu1.make.com/…). - In WordPress: Kwazi → Integrations → Webhooks → New webhook. Address: the Make address. Choose the events, e.g.
form.submitted. Create it. - In Make, click Run once; in Kwazi, click Send test event (or submit the form). Make learns the structure:
event,id,data.submission.values… - Add the next modules and map the fields.
To check the signature in Make, compare the X-Kwazi-Signature header with an HMAC-SHA256 of <t>.<raw body> (see webhooks); or keep the Make address secret.
Read or change Kwazi from Make
- In WordPress, make an application password for a user with the permissions you need.
- In Make, add HTTP → Make a request (or Make a Basic Auth request):
- URL:
https://your-site.example/wp-json/kwazi/v1/contacts - Method:
POST(create) orGET(read) - Credentials: Basic auth with your username and the application password
- Body type:
Raw, content typeJSON (application/json), request content:{ "first_name": "…", "email": "…" } - Parse response: yes
- URL:
- Run it. Lists come back as
{ "items": [ … ], "next_cursor": … }; use an Iterator onitems.
For example, to fetch everything changed since the last run: GET /contacts?updated_since={{formatDate(addMinutes(now; -15); "YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm:ss"; "UTC")}}Z&per_page=100 (the time in UTC, as the API expects). See pagination and polling.
